The Destination ImagiNation (DI) program is available for kindergarten through college students. Teams of up to seven students may be formed individually or as part of a school or community organization as long as they have a Team Manager—an adult age 18 or older looking for an amazing personal and professional experience. Teams compete only against their peers in any one of five levels.
DI conducts programs at the following levels:
Elementary Level

- Kindergarten-5th grade
- No student reaching age 12 by June 15, 2010
- Kindergarten-5th grade
Middle Level

- 6th-8th Grade
- No student reaching age 15 by June 15, 2010
Secondary Level

- 9th-12th Grade
- No student reaching age 19 by June 15, 2010
Rising Stars!

- Preschool-2nd grade
University Level
-
- Full-time post-secondary students enrolled in college, university, trade, or technical school or military. High school seniors bound for higher education.
When Do I Do DI?
The Destination ImagiNation (DI) season closely corresponds to a school year. Each DI season begins in early September, and local and state/country-level Tournaments begin as early as January. Teams that advance beyond those Tournaments are invited to attend the Global Finals Tournament in late May.
