Latest videos provide a more intimate look into the Destination ImagiNation experience.

March 2, 2010-Cherry Hill, NJ- Contestants put the focus on team roles and dynamics with the second official postings of Destination ImagiNation’s Start a Team Video Diary contest.

The social media-based contest is in full swing as the teams post their second videos which provide a more intimate look into how Destination ImagiNation teams work with each other, assign roles and responsibilities and strive toward creating the best solutions they can to present at Tournament.

“My team has been together for six seasons. The kids have literally grown up with each other, and like siblings, they don’t always agree but trust that their teammates will support and encourage them,” said Kris Lutz, co-Team Manager for Destination ImagiNation team “Just J-5K.” “They understand that their team is successful because of the unique qualities that each one of them brings to the group.”

Since its launch in January 2010, the Video Diary contest has attracted more than 6,000 unique visitors viewing the blogs a total of 7,200 times. The contest continues to grow, and the next video post will offer a peek into the fast-paced Tournament season, which is the time when Destination ImagiNation teams truly shine and showcase their solutions.

“We challenged the teams to create a longer video that would help demystify what it means to be part of a Destination ImagiNation team. Some people may shy away from participating because they aren’t quite sure what it means to be part of a team,” said Matthew Arts, Marketing and Public Relations Director for Destination ImagiNation. “With this new post, we hope more people will see the fun and excitement of doing Destination ImagiNation and want to Start a Team.”
