Darlene Courter is the Service Leader at Destination ImagiNation, Inc., where she answers the phones, replies to all e-mails addressed to AskDI and provides assistance to anyone with a problem or question. She promotes and actively participates in recruiting teams for Destination ImagiNation, and she also provides assistance for shipping and the organization’s wonderful community of volunteers.
Darlene’s past work experience includes working at a local community college, where she played a number of roles including Purchasing Assistant, Financial Aid Officer and Bookkeeper. Prior to going into the non-profit sector, Darlene worked for a family owned and operated business as an Office Manager for over twenty years, and she also worked at Wal-Mart, where she worked her way up to a Personnel Manager position.
In her free time, Darlene watches movies, plays board games, and takes walks with her husband, son and two dogs. She also loves to play in her home garden, where she experiments with different plants, flowers and vegetables.
Darlene has an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration from Camden County College.
