Destination ImagiNation® and its Background: We believe in the idea that Internet communications related to creativity and teamwork competitions for children should be an information resource for the global community. These Internet communications should provide a safe place where creative problem solvers of all ages can try out ideas, concepts and thoughts without fear of ridicule. This should be a place where through open communications and shared knowledge, the entire world can be part of the "team" in which the end goal is "...to make the world a better place in which to live." 4. 7. Clarifications: All files and links are case sensitive. We suggest using all lower case when naming your files and do not use spaces (use underline characters _ instead). Your home page must be under 35KB, and your entire site should be under 1 MB if it is to be hosted by DISC. We will point to it from the URL you specify. Please send an email to:stevecre8z@windstream.net listing your contact information and the URL of your entry in the body of the email, or you can push it via the email by providing a directory, e.g. zip it. Provide the following Supporting Information 1. Two letters of endorsement. One shall be from a team manager or other adult involved in DI (e.g., school coordinator, or regional director). The other may be from a person of your choice (e.g., school administrator, educator, guidance counselor, clergy, community leader, or teammate). Letters can be on paper, but an electronic format is also required – this may be in the form of a scanned copy of a printed letter or an email from the endorser. Letters should be one page (double spaced). Letters of endorsement should accompany the applicant's completed application. Email submissions should be from the endorser's own account to: ScholarshipChairs@idodi.org. 2. Photograph (in digital form): Submit via email to: ScholarshipChairs@idodi.org. File size should not exceed 400K. The photographs are not used in the review process but will be used for publicity purposes once awards are made. 3. Original signed copy of Application form. If you emailed an electronic copy of the application (or completed the online application) you must mail an original signed copy of the application or online application confirmation page. A scanned version of the signed form must also be submitted electronically.
